Favorite Pacifier

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Wednesday, December 29, 2010 0 comments

Razbaby RaZ-berry Teether, RedRhaine Danielle is 1year and 5 months old. She has this favorite yellow pacifier. I tried giving her other pacifier but she doesn't like. She just threw them away. She used this yellow pacifier when she's sleepy or if she wake up suddenly while sleeping. I find this very helpful, without it we are having a hard time putting her to sleep. But then a few days ago I saw the side of the pacifier already has cut on it. I guess because she was biting it. I am afraid that she might swallow it if it falls off. I think its time for her to get rid of it and use a different one. My husband cut the end of the pacifier so that she can no longer use it. We give her a new pink pacifier but she doesn't feel like using it. She would still attempt using the old pacifier but then she cannot use it at all. I don't know what will happen in the next few days. If she would accept the new pacifier or it is us who will deal with this problem. Last night before going to work she fall asleep while sitting on my lap. I hope she will not have a lot of tantrums because of the lost of her favorite pacifier.

A New Remote Control Car

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, December 27, 2010 0 comments

Last year David was not able to wake up on Christmas eve. This time I asked him to sleep in the afternoon so that he can wake up at 12am to open his gifts. He is excited to open the gift from Mamu (his grandma). I can't remember how many times he asked me to open his gifts before 12 midnight but I told him to wait. At 12am I tried to wake him up. At first he was not responding and I am afraid that he might cry because of waking up early. But when I show him his gifts he stood up right away. He first open gifts from Tita Weng, he got a sando and t-shirt with Cars design. Then he opened Mamu's gift, a remote control car. With a big smile he wanted to play with his new car. I asked him to eat spaghetti and we played with his new toy outside the house. I can see the happiness in his smile and in his eyes. He even told me to buy batteries once it stopped working.

First Honor

I am proud to say that David is the first honor in their class. He is kindergarten by the way. Its only 3rd grading so there is 1 quarter more to maintain his grades and be the top student. I would be very happy if I would put medal during his graduation. One thing that concerns me though is his clumsiness. He can't stay in one place, he would always jump, run, always moving around. He's good when it comes to academics, most of his exam he only have one to three mistakes. His teacher told my husband that David is quiet but yet really clumsy. Haaaysss... I hope he would change as he grow up.

Afraid of Mascot

Yesterday we saw Jollibee mascot at SM Molino. Rhaine, my 1yr old baby, is afraid of him. This is the first time she saw a Mascot. I hope she will be able to overcome this while she is still a kid. At least she would enjoy children's party much better. She enjoys watching them from afar but don't bring her near or else tears will flow.

Cool Gifts and Bargains for this Holiday Season

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Friday, December 10, 2010 0 comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 Imports. All opinions are 100% mine.

Christmas is just around the corner and most of us are looking for good gifts for ourselves and for our loved ones. Me as a consumer I love items on sale and bargains. I love strolling inside the store and looking on all items before deciding on what to buy. I even do hunting on different stores. But if you are a busy person and do not have enough time to go to the mall or visit a bazaar you can try checking Pier 1 for your holiday gifts.

This strawberry cake stand I would say is a must have to serve cake to your visitor. They would adore not just the sweet cake but also the stand that you use to serve it. Original price is $24.95 and now its only $12.48. Really big savings!

Pier 1 can also help you buy gifts for boys and girls according to your budget. You have an option of below $10, below $20, below $30 or you can spend extravagantly.

Look at those adorable earrings. Would you believe its only $1.98? It is on sale, original price is $8. This would be great gift for your girl friends. I have a collection of dangling earrings and I would be very happy if someone would give me this.

Since we are planning to move to our new house next year I would love to have this elegant lamp. I am sure it would be a good decoration for our living room.

For those of you who participates in charities or would like to help children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts you can support Toys for Tots by dropping off an unwrapped toy or make a cash donation at the register. Spread this good items with friends and families by liking Pier 1 Imports on Facebook.

Remove Scars on Legs

Posted by dheiyzhie12 0 comments

My little David have a lot of scars on his legs. Aside from the wound that he got about a month ago he always scratches his legs too leaving small marks. I find it very unattractive, good thing he is a boy and when he grew up it will not be that much of a worry compare to a girl. But still it doesn't look good. He is only 5 so he is not that concern about his looks. But I knew when he grew up it might affect him a little. I wonder what to put on his legs to remove those scars away. I remember my grand mother use to put "cebo de macho" on my scar when I was a little kid which I don't see any changes. I think what makes my scar lighter is because I grew up and skin are stretch. I've read online putting vitamin E or cocoa butter can help and removing scars on legs

Bracelet Bead Inside My Son's Nose

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Thursday, December 2, 2010 0 comments

The next day after my son's finger was caught by our electric fan we were surprised by David's teacher. We were sleeping then around 4pm when David and his teacher came home. We were told that David put bracelet bead inside his nose and they cannot remove it. She also mention that her nose even bleed earlier. My husband tried to get it but its already inserted too much. We decided then to bring him to a doctor. I called my mom so that they can pick us up and bring us to the nearest hospital. We went first to Molino Doctors but they don't have available ENT doctor that time. We were to told to try either Perpetual Las Pinas, Imus Medical or Dasma Hospital. We then decided to go to Imus and thank God they have ENT available. I presented my maxicare and after a few minutes the doctor arrived. The doctor try to pick it using a scissor like device but he hold it. He then use a spatula like thing. First he try it while David is lying down but failed again. He then asked David to sit down  and he tried again pulling the bead out using the spatula. After a few minutes it was a success. I was surprised to how big the bead is. Its medium in size and it would not really go inside if he did not force it. Haaysss... he is really a 5 year old, very curious on lots of things. Thank God everything is ok. This is one memorable event for his childhood.
