I will visit my OB after my shift to have my last dosage of Cervical Cancer Vaccine. It is quite expensive but just like what they said prevention is better than cure. It cost me P9000 total. It comes with three dosage. The second vaccine will be given on the second month after the first and the last vaccine is 4 months after the 2nd. It cost me P3000 per vaccine.
Cervical cancer is the third most common type of cancer in woman. It is curable if detected at an early stage. Having an annual pop smear is recommended to avoid this disease. I would recommend this to all women out there. Money spend for your health is not wasted.
I noticed yesterday that my baby Rhaine has a lot of "bungang araw" around her nape going down to her neck. There are also few on her head. I guess it was because of high temperature for this past few days. It gets really hot especially during noon. I've read online that bungang araw is caused by prolong exposure to perspiration. One more month to go before school starts. I am thinking of enrolling David in to a summer activity. I am thinking of either swimming, acting workshop, taekwondo etc. David is so much addicted to his Nintendo DS and I think it would be best for him to have some physical activities. If you know a place near Molino please inform me. I hope it doesnt cost much as well.
We just visited Rhaine's pedia yesterday and she was advised to take Heraclene 1mg every morning for 1 month. The reason is her weight stays on 7.5kg for the past 2 months. I received an email last week about putting vicks vaporub on the sole of the feet as a good cough relief. My little angel, Rhaine Danielle, woke up early in the morning because of a bad cough. She has colds as well. I looked for our vicks that is actually never been used. I put a little on the sole of her feet and then I let her wear socks. I am not sure how many minutes but yes her coughing stops. I would do this every time any member of the family has a bad cough. I recommend you used this technique also to your little ones.
