Rhaine Danielle is 6 months old now and is scheduled to have Pneumococcal vaccine this coming Sunday. It is quite expensive because the previous vaccine that she had comes with 6 vaccine in one only cost P3500 while this one cost P4500.
I found online that this is a good protection against septicemia and meningitis. Right now she has colds and I think I read somewhere that vaccine should not be given if baby has colds, I am not sure though. I hope she will not get fever after the shot. I will prepare her milk before taking the shot to calm her down and stop her from crying after the painful prick.
