Paper Jamz Guitar for David

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Wednesday, December 28, 2011 0 comments

This is our Christmas gift for David. I bought this for half the price (1000php) from cash cash pinoy. I did check Toy Kingdom and the price is really 2k. I picked it up at Chicco Store in Festival Mall. David has a big smile when he saw his gift. I am glad he liked it and I will try to learn it too. It can be use like a real guitar wherein you can play using chords. It comes with a small card board showing how to form the chords.

Christmas Vacation

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, December 20, 2011 0 comments

Today is David's last day in school. The school ended with 3 days so of exam and tomorrow will be their christmas party. They are asked to pay P150 to have Mcdonalds Party. They will also have exchange gift worth P100. I don't know why the format was change from Cowboy Theme to simply wearing Santa hat. I guess its easier to prepare. David is excited about Christmas because of the gifts that he wanted to open. We decided to spend Christmas Eve at my mom's house since my brother's family will be there too. It would be more fun specially for my kids to have someone to play with.

Gain Plus vs Nido Jr

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Thursday, December 8, 2011 0 comments

I need to act and one thing that takes up our budget is my little girls milk. The biggest can of Gain Plus 1.8kg is now at P1400 something and my daughter consumes two cans every month, wew. I am thinking of changing her milk to something affordable and one thing that comes in my mind is Nido. One can of Nido Jr 2kg is P800 something only, its really a big savings. I compared the label and find out that of course Gain has more nutrients... I guess thats why its expensive. But then I find out over the net that you only need expensive milk if you have a hard time feeding your babies solid and nutritious food. Growing children needs solid food much more than liquid. Switching to Nido is not a bad idea, I just need to give my daughter multivitamins and have more patience feeding her during meal time. I just bought a big can of Nido and two weeks ago and so far so good. There is still 1/4 left which I hope would last until the next pay day, 1 week more. I pray to God that my daughter will grow up a loving child. To God be the glory!

Taiwan Costume

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Wednesday, December 7, 2011 0 comments

This coming Saturday, December 10, is Foundation Day at Harrell Horne Integrated School. My son who is on prep was assigned by his teacher to wear a Taiwan costume. I don't know what presentation they have. I tried googling about Taiwan costume and its really not clear ... it looks like they are chinese too. We have a hard time looking for his costume in the mall since United Nations day is already finished and its already Christmas season. Good thing my husband was able to pass by Baclaran and bought a chinese costume for him. He got it for P360. Since its our christmas party at work on the same day I will not be able to accompany my little boy. I'll just ask my husband to take pictures of him.

Another Stye

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, November 15, 2011 0 comments

My little girl Rhaine, undergone stye removal last August due to multiple stye on both her eyes. I don't know where she got it. I am concern because it looks like she is having another one again on her left eye. I don't want her to have another operation. Actually due to this every time she hears the word doctor she would refer to her eyes. I've read online that a warm compress on the eye is a good remedy but at her age I don't know how will I do it. We might visit a different doctor since I got disappointed with the professional fee before that was not covered with our Maxicare... (another story). Do you think it would be better to visit our pedia first or we just go to an opta? We might bring her to the doctor anytime this week.

Fear of Death and Separation

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, November 7, 2011 0 comments

I was sleeping when all of a sudden my little boy, David, who is 6 years old, come to me with tears in his eyes. At first I thought he had a fight with his dad again. I asked him why and his answer surprised me. Media really can corrupt young mind. He told me he doesn't want to die. He is crying because he remembered what he saw in television when he was 5 years old. Its about an old guy who die. I don't know if its from a telenovela, commercial or something. He asked me if he became a grandfather... will I still be there? Who will take care of him? I told him all of us will die.. some are young and some are old. I advised him to eat healthy food (specially vegetables) to be healthy and not to be sick which can cause death. I told him his kids will take care of him when he grows old. He asked then how can I have a kid? When you get married you will have kids of your own, thats what I said. Well, another surprising answer from him. I don't want to get married, and I said why? He said he is shy to kiss someone, I then remember seeing him hiding when he sees a kissing scene in a movie or a tv show. No matter how much I want can be there to control what he needs to see or watch in some cases it just happens when you are watching something.

I am concern on about my kid. Based on my assessment on how he reacts on things... he is very weak emotionally. He cries easily... very dependent... doesn't want to be left alone. I guess it has something to do with our conflicting way of how to discipline him. My husband is quite hot tempered and would easily shout, say bad words and punished him at a very little mistakes. Most of the time, I come as his savior and when I do that his dad would get mad at me for contradicting him. I am doing that because I don't agree with how he punish the kid for just a very little things. I know I am wrong for interrupting and I should talk to him when my kids is away but he really cannot control his temper. Anyway my worry now is how to make my little boy stronger emotionally. I want him to be strong and not to become very dependent to us. I don't know how to do this with my husband since we have different views on how to build him up. He wants my son to be afraid of him.... afraid in a way by just a single word the kid would follow. To me it sounds like too  much, I think that would make the kid rebellious in the future. I guess I need to talk to my husband and we should come up with a solution that we can agree together.

Sem-Break is Over

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Thursday, November 3, 2011 0 comments

November 3, 2011, David is back to school after about two weeks of sem-break. He spend most of his time with mamu's (lola) house. Good thing it is also his cousin Joshua's sem-break so he has playmate there. He spend most of time playing toys, watching cartoons, playing nintendo DS and playing pool. I did not force him to review even though they will have a very long exam on November 7 which will be move to November 8 due to holiday. According to his diary he needs to review everything from 1st grading up to 2nd grading... wew. I think of all the subjects that they have the difficult one will be Sibika... lots of memorization about the Philippines. They will have classes until Saturday so I am planning to review him this coming Sunday and Monday. That is the way I review as well when I go to school. I would not call it cramming but its just that its easy to recall things that you just studied. I hope he will get good grades just like before. I don't feel this kind of pressure when I was kinder... my son is in prep and have this kind of exams already.. wew! Two weeks after this they have their monthly exam for their 3rd grading period.

Missing Red Angry Bird

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, October 31, 2011 0 comments

Last Sunday we went to Tagaytay for a trip. We are supposed to visit my tita and lola in Batangas but change our agenda. After breakfast all of us prepared. All kids take a bath first and then the adults. At first we are thinking of place where the kids can have fun. We are thinking of going to MOA, Southmall, luneta, park near our place... until we decided to go to Tagaytay. My mom cooked rice and bring some plates and utensils, we are going to have our lunch there. We end up eating in a restaurant with kubo and then went to Olivares to hunt clothes in ukay-ukay. There's a playground for kids where David and Joshua stay while we are hunting for clothes. We also both angry birds slippers for Rhaine and a small angry bird playset for David. Out of excitement David open his toy and when we got home he find out that the red angry bird is missing. He and his dad look inside the van but its not there. The toy only comes with two birds, yellow and red. That makes him upset but I told him not to since he still have some angry birds toy in our house. He is still requesting for an angry bird toy for Christmas.. oh well!

Kids Scout

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Friday, October 21, 2011 0 comments

Yesterday was my son's last day before their sem-break. They have an activity called Scouting Investiture Ceremony. Its an event for girls and boys scouts. It makes me remember my girls scout days when I was small. I was not able to attend due to work so its my hubby who joined him. We are not aware that we need to bring someone to be his sponsor so its my husband who acted as one. I was able to see his pictures and videos and I can see the smile in his face while marching and singing. They also had a fun play after the ceremony. I hope next year I would be able to be with him for the boy scout event.

Perfect Score

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, October 10, 2011 0 comments

I am very happy and proud of my little boy. I saw the results of his exam last week and he was able to perfect 3 out of the their 6 exams. The other subjects he only had few mistakes. I was not able to take note of the subjects so I cant post what they are (hehe). I am looking forward for better and good grades. Sorry my son if mommy is sometimes hot tempered when reviewing or teaching you. But no matter what, I will always be here to help and guide you. Love you son!

Affordable Phone

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TracFone for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you are looking for a phone with no contracts, no credit checks, no activation charges or cancellation fees then Tracfone is the right one for you. Aside from great  nationwide coverage and excellent reception they offer brand name phones from leading manufacturers like Motorola, Kyocera, LG, Nokia and Samsung. Their phone have So many features like alarm, calendar, notes, calculator, tip calculator, converter, timer, stop watch and it can go online too.

You can choose from monthly plan of 200 minutes for under $30 or $9.99 for 50 minutes. They also feature "double minutes for the life of your phone" which can be purchased separately for only $19.99. Since it cost very little, it would be good to have your kids Tracfone too. With this you would be able to keep in touch with them specially on emergency situation.

If you love surfing the web you can pay as you go online or use cards which is available in thousands of retail stores across the country. One more thing that I love about what they offer is the international call. You can actually call internationally with the same price as any other call. Isn't it great? You will be able to call your friends and relatives more often. One more thing you can provide family and friends in Mexico and Canada a local phone number to reach you at your Tracfone at the US. Really amazing!

Get one now! If you just need simple phone for calling and texting you can get it under $10. If you like great phone with camera/video recorder, web access, app capabilities, mp3 player and full QWERTY keyboard, its only $29.99. Really great offers.

Christmas Gift

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, October 3, 2011 0 comments

Angry BirdsIt's BER month already and 82 more days if I'm not mistaken its already Christmas. My son who is getting fond of angry birds is requesting for a miniature play set of it. We saw it first at Clipper in Alabang Town Center which cost P1k. We also saw it in RFC which I think its only P600 or P800 not really sure. Its battery operated so you can hear sounds of the bird when you throw them using the sling. It comes with blocks that you can put together and pigs as the enemy. Well I am still thinking if I will buy this for him. I still have time to decide on what to buy him for Christmas.

Broken Angry Bird Sharpener

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, September 20, 2011 0 comments

My son David loves playing games at Tom's World. Mostly he plays those that give out tickets. Those tickets can be exchange to different items depending on the points. When he went out before with his dad he was able to get 2 angry bird sharpeners, one red and one blue. He enjoys playing with it and he even bring it at school. Yesterday I was reviewing him for their periodical exam, something bad happen. He was so playful while we are studying. He cant stand in one position, he keeps on moving around and playing. I only  have like an hour of sleep from work and was tired already. I told him several times to behave and listen, I loosen up my temper and threw one of his angry bird sharper and it broke. While he was crying, I feel guilt in me for doing that. I knew that he value that toy so much. I explained to him his mistakes and why I get mad. I also told him how lucky he is for having a mom who works hard for his needs and what I am doing is for his own good. At the end I also apologized for my behavior. We end up hugging each other and went back to studying. Lord please give me more patient and help me raise my kid well.

Prep First Grading Period

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Thursday, September 15, 2011 0 comments

Last Saturday was the class card distribution at my son's school. Before the cards was given the parents were first given a seminar by Ptr. Ody about parenting. I learned a lot from it. Parenting is very hard but very fulfilling. Our kids are gift from God. I remember he mention about the message in the bible "I am the vine and your are the branches." He relate this to family, God being the vine and parents the branches and kids as the fruit. God should be the center of our parenting to be able to bear good fruit.

Anyway their class card looks different. It shows no numbers but C(consistent), P(progress) and N(not yet) on different skills of the student. You will also see VS (very satisfactory), S (satisfactory) etc. per each category. I wonder what is his real grades in numbers, we are told before we could ask the teacher for that. He may not be the brightest in their class but for me he is the best, my beloved child.

Classic Fairy Tales

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Friday, September 2, 2011 0 comments

Though tiring I had a good time being with my son with their school field trip. The first itinerary was to visit the Doll Joy Factory. There we saw different kinds of dolls they manufacture and how they are made. They showcase beautiful dolls. They even let the kids know how dolls are being made. I find out that they also made the popular Precious Memory Dolls.

One thing that I learned from the said trip was my lack of time letting him know the classics fairy tales. There was a part there were different characters were asked like snow white, cinderella, tinkerber, rapunsel.. etc. While all the kids are answering he was there very quiet not knowing those popular characters. It saddened me and I am planning to either buy books or maybe dvd for him.

School Field Trip

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, August 30, 2011 0 comments

For the past two years it is my husband who comes with David for field trip. This time I will be coming with him. I already filed for a vacation leave for this. Last weekend I already bought some snacks which we will be bringing. I lost the paper given by the school showing where they will visit. Anyway I hope I would not forget our camera to take pics. I will treasure this day. I knew when he grew up, he will no longer depend on us and will have his own life. But no matter what happens I will always be here for you son.

Yellow Pajama and Scarf

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, August 15, 2011 0 comments

Next week Harrell Horne Integrated School will be celebrating Buwan ng Wika. My son was asked to prepare a kamiso tsino , yellow pajama and a scarf. I guess they are going to dance or maybe recite a poem. Last year they wore a red pajama and scarf. I hope I can attend the said event.

Diarrhea with fever

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Thursday, August 11, 2011 0 comments

David is absent now for 4 days now due to diarrhea and fever. We visited her pedia last Tuesday and he was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis. He was given probiotics and oral salt for dehydration. Doctor also give paracetamol for his fever and a zinc vitamin which I was not able to ask why. Tomorrow we might visit his pedia again since there is still no changes. I am praying that he will get well as soon as possible since its going to be their monthly periodical test next week. Lord please heal whatever bacteria causes this diarrhea/disease. Love you son, sorry if sometimes mommy gets mad.

New School Schedule

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, July 25, 2011 0 comments

I attended mandatory parents meeting last Friday. I was few minutes late but then the main agenda is to change the schedule of our kids. Their original sched is from 11:00am to 2:20pm. The director said usually after lunch the kids are losing their focus. Some are getting tired and sleepy and some just like to play. Since we don't want our kids to wake up too early, we are told 9am would be the best option. With this sched the day would end at 12:30pm, just right for lunch and for the kids to take a nap. Early in the morning, kids are more attentive as well. I guess its not a bad idea. Yesterday was the start of their new schedule and I find it very much ok.

Jollibee Playground

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, July 18, 2011 0 comments

Last Sunday my mom and my two brothers with their family visited us. Actually my brother went to our house to ask my husband on applying to Taiwan. My mother and my eldest brother who is near our area decided to went as well. It was really hot and we decided to go somewhere else, to relax. It came to our mind of going to Tagaytay but my brother said it would be hot there as well since it is late afternoon. We then decided to go to SM Southmall. Its a nice idea because I've never been there after the renovation was done. Anyway we are not able to stroll around because we have 4 little kids with us. While looking for a place to it I suggested to visit Jollibee near ATC. They have playground in the 2nd floor and its nice because the place is not always full. The kids really enjoy their playtime. I hope to have this kind of gathering again with my brothers and their family.

Stye Operation

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Wednesday, July 13, 2011 0 comments

Stye Sterile Opthamo Ointment, 0.125-OunceIt kinda scares me when I hear the ophthalmologist told me that he would do an operation on my 2 year old kid to remove multiple stye on her eyes. Its been there for more than a month now. We first took her to a pediatrician and she was given cloxacillin sodium for 3 weeks and fucithalmic acid which she used for a week. Her pedia then referred us to the ophtha after 3 weeks of antibiotics. We will go back to the doctor later this afternoon to check on her eye again and schedule the operation next week. I was able to see videos from youtube on how this kind of surgery is being done and I can stand watching it. I am thinking how my little will get hurt. I pray to God to be with her and not feel so much of a pain.

Bible Story

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Wednesday, July 6, 2011 0 comments

I bought this Bible Story for kids for David when he was in nursery. I was not able to read it to him. Now he has a 2 year old sister and he is already 6 years old. I started reading him how God created the earth last night before I left going to work and I did see his interest. I guess its time now to introduce him more about God. I am sure I will learn too.

Biokips Lunchbox

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, July 5, 2011 0 comments

Lock & Lock 16.5 Cup Rectangular Storage

For two weeks now David is bringing biscuits, bread or sandwich for his packed lunch since he lost his lunch box. When we visited Mamu last Saturday, she gave him P400 box as a belated birthday gift, hehehe. I told David I would buy him a lunch box instead. We went to SM Hypermarket at Molino and look for a good bag and lunch box. We are eyeing of getting the biokips bag with lunch box included for P600, original price is P750. But then we changed our mind. We bought the biokips bag on sale for P200, and then we bought a separate biokops storage with division which he can put his utensils and also a 400ml tumbler. I think it cost us almost P500. For two days now he is enjoying again a rice meal. Since his schedule is 11:00am to 2:30pm it would be better for him to have heavier meal.

One Fork Left

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, June 28, 2011 0 comments

Skip Hop Zoo Lunchie Insulated Lunch Bag, Owl

David's schedule at school is from 11am to 2:30pm. At first he used to bringing biscuits and juice for his 'baon'. When he saw that most of his classmates have rice for their break, he requested to have rice too. The problem is he keeps on forgetting his utensils. Now we only have  one fork left and last time he forget his lunch box. Because of that he is back to biscuits again and water. Good thing he is not forgetting his tumbler. He actually forget it once but his teacher was able to return it. I am planning to buy him a new lunch box but I am still thinking. I would buy set of spoon and fork first and then I will decide if I will buy him a new lunch box.

Wants to be a Girl

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, June 27, 2011 0 comments

In our world today, lesbian, gay or bisexual are becoming popular. They are like disease that keeps on spreading all throughout the world. More and more people are accepting them and they are also fighting for equal rights. Just recently in New York, they allowed same sex marriage. I have some friends who are in this category and I would say they are good people. But I know in the bible same sex marriage is not accepted.

Anyway my concern is that out of the blue my 6yr old little boy told me "Mom, I wish was born as a girl or never born at all." Waaaa!!!! When I asked him why, his answered is not connected at all. He said he is afraid to die. I guess he are getting those ideas from watching television. It's really hard to raise kids especially at this modern world. I hope and pray that God will continue to guide me and my husband to raise our kids properly.

Sty or Kuliti

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, June 21, 2011 0 comments

My little girl, Rhaine, almost 2 years old got infected with stye or kuliti in tagalog. Its been more than a month when I noticed that something is on her eyelid. I ignored it thinking it would heal on its own and would disappear. I brought her to a pedia yesterday since both of her eyes are already infected and its getting bigger. I was told she already have mutiple stye infection. She has one on each upper eyelid and its about to start on her lower eye lid. Waaa... she was given antibiotics to drink for 2 weeks and fucithalmic to drop on her eyes twice a day. I spend more than 1K for the medicine. We will go back to her pedia Thursday next week and I hope there is already improvement. The doctor told me it takes time for stye to heal but it should be taken care off because it can also spread to the skin if not treated.

Smaller Bag

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, June 14, 2011 0 comments

David now is at Prep and I don't know that he only be needing a small bag. I did not buy him a new one because his stroller bag from Kindergarten still looks fine. Last year he always brings his books and notebooks everyday. This time his teacher have all his books and they did not even included notebooks on the school supplies that I need to bought. I don't know if they will provide notebooks for him or what. He's been to school for four days now and he doesn't even have an assignment.

He is a new student and moved to a bigger school. I don't care if he don't carry his books all the time as long as he would still learn. So far when I asked him about school he doesn't complain. He says they play, write and read. It looks like he is liking the new environment. I hope Harrel Horne Integrated School would develop more of his interpersonal skills which I know he needs more development rather than his academics.

David is Missing

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Wednesday, June 8, 2011 0 comments

It was David's first day in school. I went home early so that I can come with him. He is a transfer student so I want to make sure that he knows where to go. It is also the first time the school service will go to our place. The service arrived early and we also pick up one more student. I was told that my son has a different service, he is not available so they are just told to pick my son up.

After making sure that he is alright I went home and take a nap. I woke up around 2pm because I know he will be out by 2:30pm. I received a text message from my husband saying that the school service already left and is asking me if my son is with me. The service said there are no student left in the room when they left. I got worried and called the school immediately. A lady answered the line and give me a different number for preschool. Thank God, he is with the preschool teachers. I asked the school service to go back to school and pick my son. David arrived home as if nothing happen. When I asked him how's school, he said he liked it there. He said he likes the fishing toy that he is playing while waiting.

Tomorrow it will be another day for him and this time it is his not a substitute who will pick him up. I hope everything will go well.

RoomMates RMK1443GM Tom and Jerry Peel & Stick Giant Wall Decals

This show is my son's favorite. His cousin actually has a DVD of Tom and Jerry which he used to watch the whole day every time he visits Mamu (his grandma). He never get tired watching the same story over and over again. My mom let me borrow the DVD when we moved since our antenna is not yet installed. At least David would have something to do if he wanted to watch. His slippers is actually Tom and Jerry.

Getting Ready For School

Posted by dheiyzhie12 0 comments

I received a text message from Harrell Horne Integrated School that school will start this coming June 8. I went there last Monday to pick up my son's books and also to buy school uniform. We also went to National bookstore to buy some items that he need for school. I prepared his bag and also put plastic cover on all his books. I called the school to ask about the school service and I was told to call back on Monday. I don't see the excitement in David but I hope everything will be alright when the school starts.

Request for a Toy Car

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, May 9, 2011 0 comments

Yesterday David went to me while he was crying. He cried because his dad got mad at him because he did not remove the plug of the computer after playing. Anyway he went to me not because of that. Out of the blue he said if he get 1st, 2nd or 3rd honor after the school year he would like to get a rechargeable toy car that we saw in toy kingdom. It looks like the picture on the left. I told him yes even though I am not sure yet if I will be able to afford it. It can cost from P5000-up. I also told him maybe he would like to get the manual pedal car which doesn't use battery. It is quite cheaper but still very expensive. The one I saw before I think is around P4000. It looks like the 2nd picture on the left. I am quite sad because when he got 2nd place in kindergarten I was not able to buy him something special. Something that he would like to get. As much as I wanted to, my budget would not allow me. I hope this coming school year he would get good grades again and hope this time I could buy him something special.

Outdoor Furniture

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Spring is just around the corner and it is a great idea to have outdoor furniture. Since our space outside is small, I guess this Outdoor Perched Bird Bench from Pier 1 would be a good waiting bench for our visitor. Since it is made of metal it is really good for outdoor use. I really like its design and currently they are giving a discount on this. Price is down to $229.99 from $249.95.

Outdoor Perched Bird Bench

I would like to accent that with this green cushion. Its green color is so vibrant and I am really a fan of green. This cushion is only $60 and I think it would also fit on our rattan chair inside our living room.

If you love bargain just like me here are some items that you can consider to get. These items are really good either outside or inside your house. If I have extra money I would definitely buy them.

I would like to have this wooden coat rack. Its original price is $139.95 and now its only $99.99. I would like to put this just outside our door.

For those of you who have small space this would be a good corner shelf. Now its only $99.98 from its original price of 129.95

This decorative umbrella stand is not on sale but I really find it attractive. This only cost $49.95.

For more info about their product check out Pier 1 Tweetups.

Child's Love

Recently due to lots of problem I easily became irate specially with my child. I feel sorry about it but I was not able to say sorry to him. I am planning to give him a hug and say sorry for being too hot tempered. I thank God for my child's love to me never change. I was able to see in him how a child obeys his parents. Even if he is busy playing and I asked him to get something, he would run and get that for me. No matter what he is doing he would go to us if we call him even if he is crying because he is watching a cartoon show. Sometimes I see in him how disobedient I am and how an adult don't have the love of a child. An adult used to keep hate and anger and I don't see that in him. Truly the love of a child is pure and unconditional.

Summer Splash

Last Sunday was my nephew's birthday celebration. We went to Circle Island Resort which is very near our place. The resort is really crowded but it looks like everybody are having fun. I did not join them in the pool because I don't want to fall in line in the bathroom afterwards hehehe. I even saw my officemate Zosi along with his two kids.

David who always stays on the stairs of the pool every time we went to a swimming now is having fun moving around the pool. Good thing there is a pool there just for kids. His cousin is not afraid of the pool, at first David doesnt want to have a splash at all. His dad try convince him and after a while olah! He now goes up and down the pool by himself. Good job to you my son, I hope next time we have another splash you will still have the courage to go back to the pool just like what you did.

In a street accident, a woman tried to help the victim. Suddenly a nurse came in and said, "Miss excuse me, Please step back!" I've had a course in first aid and I'm trained in giving CPR." The woman stepped aside and watched the procedure and said, "If you need a doctor, I'm just at your back." Lesson: Humility counts, Stay humble!

Sometimes after struggling with a tasteless cup of coffee, we find sugar at the bottom... that's life - sweetened but not stirred.

Coins always makes sound but paper money are always silent, so when your value increases keep yourself silent and humble

Nothing's even more happier than to see a friend who appreciates you in the smallest thing, accepts you in times of hardships, comforts you when troubled, loves you no matter what, and simply because... they are happy for having you, rain or shine.

For every hectic day, God is our quiet rest. For every painful experience, He is our healing touch. For every disappointment, He is our certain hope.

Sometimes you don't need to say anything for you to express what you truly feel, because sometimes sincerity can be felt by silence rather than by words.

Butterflies don't know the color of their wings, but human eyes know how nice it is. Likewise, you don't know how good you are, but people around you knows how special you are.

Seven UP's for a wonderful life
1. Wake UP - decide to have a good day!
2. Dress UP - put on a smile each day!
3. Shut UP - learn to listen
4. Stand UP - for what you believe in
5. Reach UP - for something higher
6. Look UP - to the Lord
7. Lift UP - your prayers!

My Twelve Lenten Wishes For You:
1. Happiness deep inside
2. Serenity at every sunrise
3. Success in every facet of your life
4. Family beside you
5. Caring friends around you
6. A love that never fades and ends
7. Good health in you
8. Beautiful memories of yesterdays
9. A nice day with so much to be thankful for
10. A pathway leading to better tomorrows
11. Dreams that manage to come and
12. A great appreciation for whatever you do

In all things, always remember to give thanks. You might not be where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be. If it hasn't happened yet, that doesn't mean it won't happen. Remember delay is not a denial from God; in His own time, He will make all things beautiful. Trust him with all our heart!

3 NICE Stories:
1. Once, all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer, all people gathered but only one boy came with an umbrella. That's FAITH!
2. When you throw a baby in the air, the baby laugh because he knows you will catch him. That's TRUST!
3. Every night that we go to bed, we have no assurance that we will wake up the next morning but still we have plans for tomorrow. That's HOPE!
Live a life with FAITH, TRUST and HOPE!

Our God is a God of success. He created us to be winners. He helps us achieve beyond what we think we can! Be happy never worry! God is with us all the way.

Medicines and friends both cure problems, the only difference is that the friendship don't have expiry date. NO dosage, no price, lucky to have one! You. A drug most prescribed.

Summer Activity

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Thursday, April 14, 2011 0 comments

I am quite sad that I was not able to enroll David to the VBS (Vacation Bible School) in CCF Alabang. The fee is affordable for only P350 for 6 days. However, the expense of travelling back and forth, bringing him in the church and going back home would cost me around P1200, which is no longer on my budget. Haaaysss.... Good thing he have his cousins as his playmates which makes his vacation fun. I hope by next year he would be able to join VBS or maybe enroll in a summer sport activity.

Vacation Bible School VBS

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, March 28, 2011 0 comments

There will be a VBS this coming April for kids ages 5 to 12 yrs at CCF Alabang. Hearing this I got excited and I wanted my son David to attend the said event. I talked to my husband if he could bring and pick up our son for 6 days. I want to be there for my little boy but I couldn't due to my work. My leave may  not be approved because it should be filed 15 days before and also I am trying to save my VL. Good thing my husband agreed. I am planning to enroll him this coming Sunday. I hope he would learn more about God during this activity. As a kid I was not able to attend a VBS, I accepted Jesus Christ when I was a teenager. Though I was given an opportunity before to handle and teach kids. This  would be first time for David and I hope he would enjoy it.

Hunting for a New School

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, March 22, 2011 0 comments

David will be graduating in kinder this March 31,2011. I wonder why it takes that long. Other schools are already done with their graduation while my son is still taking their final exam this week. Anyway I am excited to see him on stage taking his diploma. Since we are planning to move to our new house we are also planning to transfer him to a different school. I first inquired at Statefields School along Molino because I think it is one of the best school near our area. But then I find the tuition fee too high and not that affordable. The next school I called was Woodridge College in Soldiers Hills IV. It is quite far from our place but they do offer school bus and their tuition fee plan seems ok to my budget. Although their tuition fee are quite high too I like the plan of having small monthly fee. With my son going to kinder my monthly fee would be P1500. You can check out their tuition fee schedule for year 2011-2012 here. I haven't visited the school but we are planning to go there for him to see the school and to take the entrance exam. It would be a bigger school to compare to where he is now. I hope he would like it there and I am praying that he would be a good student.

I am proud and excited for my son's graduation this coming March 31, 2011. He was task to render the accepting of the key of responsibility of moving from kinder to prep. He was given a few lines that he need to render on the said graduation. We are still practicing. Two more weeks to go before the said event. I hope he  memorize it well and render it beautifully. I told my husband to take a video when he do that. I am proud of you David!

Affordable Infant Milk Formula

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PBM Products for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Price of almost everything is going up. I just hear another oil price hike and usually after that follow an increase of other goods in the market. As a mother I need to do something about the ongoing crisis. I need to be able to budget the money that I am earning. It is quite hard for me because I am the only one working. I have two kids, my first child who will be in Prep this coming school year and my 2nd child who is still a baby, 1 year and 8 months old.

One solution that I have in budgeting is to get an alternative on things that I usually buy. Alternative that would let me save money without giving up the quality. For example, in infant formula you can try Bright Beginnings, it has comparable nutrients to national brands but yet very affordable. If you want to try this you can buy on diapers.com. They also offer other baby needs like diaper, baby food, feeding and nursing items, bath and skin care for baby, toys, books, clothing and a lot more. Definitely everything that you need for your angel. If you have a baby I encourage you to check out Bright Beginnings on Facebook

Sing or Dance

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, March 15, 2011 0 comments

The other day my son David come to me and sad, "Mom, is it alright if I will not go to school today?" I asked him why and he said, "My teacher would ask as to dance again." Hearing that I give me a smile. I know he doesn't like dancing and I told him it's alright. I told him they are just practicing for the coming graduation. I encouraged him to go to school and told him not all of his classmate are good in dancing too so he should not be afraid. When I checked his diary I saw that they are task to either dance or sing this coming Friday. I bought him a VCD for kiddie song and since he already know the song "Ako ay may lobo" I told him that he would sing that instead. He just need to learn more of the hymn.

Text Quotes from my friend Pinky

10 Ways to love people:

1. Listen without interrupting (Prov 18)
2. Speak without accusing (James 1:19)
3. Give without sparing (Prov 21:26)
4. Pray without ceasing (Colossians 1:9)
5. Answer without arguing (Prov 17:1)
6. Share without pretending (Ephesians 4:15)
7. Enjoy without complaint (Philippians 2:14)
8. Trust without wavering (Corinthians 13:7)
9. Forgive without punishing (Colossians 3:13)
10. Promise without forgetting (Prov 13:12)

"The storms in our lives proves the strength of our anchor. As we love, trust and depend on God. He will give us strength to do and overcome the impossible."

"Be thankful for our capacity to love and to be loved, for those are the essence of life.. Be thankful for our blessings, counting them is better than counting  hurts and regrets.. Be thankful to those who forget to say thanks, so we can be reminded to be different.."

"Life is like a party.. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn't come.. But in the end, after the fun, there would be few who would clean up the mess with you.. And most of the time.. those were the uninvited ones."

"Angels fly not because of their wings, but because they have no burdens in their heart. Lift everything to God and you'l fly around like an angel."

"How wonderful if we could all learn: to love without condition, to talk without bad intention, to give without reason and to care without expectation."

"Smiling is a great mental tonic.. it can dispel anxiety, helps manage stress, depression, fear and worry."

"Jesus is the arm that will hold you at your weakest; the eye that will see you at your neediest and the heart that will love you at your worst."

"The seeds of greatness are in you. God never created you to be a nobody but a real somebody. God valued you so much and love you more than you know."

"I asked God to keep you happy, He said, "okay only for 4 days." I said, "okay, summer, winter, rainy and spring days." He said, "No, only for 3 days." I said, "ok, yesterday, today and tomorrow." He said, "No, only for two days." I said, "Day and night." He said, "No, only for one day." I said, "ok, everyday." God laughed and said, "okay!""

"How do you know you are happy? It is when you are alone yet you don't feel lonely nor incomplete. It is when everything is wrong yet you find simple reasons to smile. It is when you wake up every morning without any regrets from yesterday."

"Saying good night is not just putting an end to a day. It's a way of saying  I remember you before I go to sleep. Hope that you feel the care that goes with it."

"Life is full of trials. What we need is encouragement for survival, through acceptance, sensibility and bravery. Remember we are created for not to face all failures but also success that is the essence of life.. What you don't have today for sure you have it for some other day."

"Nothing is hard if the hear has love. Nothing is impossible when the heart understands. Nothing is heavy when God is in your heart."

Best Gift for Your Baby

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of CryoCell International for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As a mother we always want the best for our baby. Most of the time, we invest on their future by letting them study in the best school that we can afford. But I guess it would also be a good thing to invest on their health in the future. In this modern world, medical specialist has discovered that stem cell can be used as a substitute for bone marrow. In any case, if our kid got a disease and needs to under go chemotherapy or radiation, the stem cell of our kid can be used to strengthen their immune system.

That is why www.Cryo-Cell.com offers preserving the umbilical cord of new born baby. It has been discovered that the umbilical cord is a rich source of stem cell. The advantage of keeping it is that if your kid needs a stem cell in the future you will not have a hard time looking for a perfect match. One more thing there is also 25% possibility that it would match a sibling.

If you are interested on preserving your baby's umbilical cord visit their website now at www.Cryo-Cell.net and get a change to have a free belly bag.

Prep or Grade 1

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Tuesday, March 1, 2011 0 comments

One more month and David will be graduating from kinder. I am really proud of him because he can now read and count well. He will be 6years old this coming June and I am thinking of whether I will enroll him in Prep or Grade 1. I am not sure which would be a good idea. I think with his skills he can already cope up in grade 1 but I am thinking that I might be forcing him. Haaaysss.... I am really confuse. But anyway maybe by next week I will be searching for a school where I can transfer him since we are planning to move to our new house. I will let him undergo assessment if he is eligible for grade 1 then maybe I will enroll him. Although I knew he is good academically I do see that he stills prefers playing rather than making homework. I hope putting him in grade 1 will make him more responsible as a student.

Working in Oman

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Monday, February 21, 2011 0 comments

My husband is longing to work abroad since he cannot find a job here in the country. A pastor that he knew refer him to an agency who sends people in Malaysia, Singapore, Middle East etc. It is called First Asian Career Solutions Inc. First he tried to apply for a factory worker in Malaysia but then he was told that building maintenance in Oman gives higher salary. He selected the one in Oman then. He already have taken medical exam and now is waiting for the employer to come to have interview. I don't feel happy thinking of him leaving us but thinking the future of our two kids I don't know if I can provide everything. If only we have a little money to start a small business I would prefer that rather him leaving the three of us. I don't how we would survive. I know we will because there are lots of families here being left by their father to work overseas. It will be hard but I need to be strong for my little angels. Lord please guide us on the right path.

Willow Tree Anniversary Figurine, Susan Lordi 26184It's really amazing. I can't imagine how time flies away very quickly. I still remember our wedding day, when we move to Pasig to live on our own, when I first got pregnant, days where we are fighting, movie dates, family reunion and different special occasions, first time David went to school etc. We've been through a lot and I know we will go through a lot more. We had a simple dinner at Gerry's Grill in Alabang Town Center to celebrate.

Thank you Lord for my family!

Nasty Mouse

Posted by dheiyzhie12 Friday, February 11, 2011 0 comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Victor Pest. All opinions are 100% mine.

We live in a small space that is why our bedroom is very near the kitchen. I guess that is also the reason why those nasty mice is going back and forth between our bedroom and the kitchen. Sometimes I would see one running very quick on the floor and there are times I would see one trying to climb our double bed. I am afraid to use poison on them because I have two small kids that might pick up the poison.

I guess I should try rodent control offered by Victor. Victor is a trusted brand name since 1890 and recognized as world leader when it comes to rodent control category. They carry full line products for mouse problem that are highly efficient. And what I like the most is that all their products are safe for kids and pets, they are non-toxic.

If you want to get rid of those nasty mice take advantage of their special promo. It is called Victor Protect Your Space Combo Kit for only $99.99 and guess what, shipping is free. The kit includes Victor Sonic Pest Chaser Heavy Duty Sonic, Victor Sonic Mini Pest Chaser Ultrasonic Rodent Repellent and Victor Electronic Mouse trap.
